Did you know that Isla St Clair did a Shape Up and Dance record? Imagine trying to tighten your buns to the Skye Boat Song, or that one she used to sing about herring's heads. I also love the fact that George Best and Mary Stavin did one, too. Imagine the instructions: 'And lift your right arm....right arm...right arm...". You'd think the record had stuck, but it'd just be George's instructions for what your right arm's for.

George Best looks fantastic in that picture ! He was my childhood hero, despite the problems.
MrsB has the Angela Rippon volume from that series...
I think the only person never to have done a fitness album - or DVD these days - is me.
I'll get onto it right away.
I think you should. I think your selling point could be taking some vigorous exercise, then louchely smoking a fag afterwards.
I nearly had a heart attack whilst running for the bus last week, and similarly, climbing the escalator on the Tube today, so immediately signed up for gym membership before I keel over.
Felicity Kendel had the finest Shape up and Dance Record. Hey Mickey punctuated by "and legs" and "arms" in that lovely voice. It arrived in the Blackhurst household at about the same plan as the G-Plan diet. (or was that furniture?).
